I came across a few pictures that I had of Old Town and the immediate area, some from the perspective of the river. So, I thought that I would add them to the tour of Old Town.

This is the Jones Point lighthouse, which is directly next to the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, in the Jones Point Park. The park is to be redeveloped, now that the bridge construction is finished, with more amenities, and will close this fall for two years, including rerouting of the Mount Vernon trail that passes through it.

This is a small bridge on the GW Parkway at the southern end of Old Town, just outside the Beltway's overpass on the Wilson Bridge.

By the way...RestonRunner86, unfortunately there seems to be an issue with the photos you uploaded in your original posts.

So I've noticed. Most of my dozens of photo tours all over City-Data are like this now. I think I didn't renew my paid PhotoBucket membership, so then when my bandwith storage quota was reduced I lost a lot of photos. Oh well! At least I'm lucky enough to visit Old Town whenever I'd like!
