I'm looking for a good primary care doctor for my husband and I. We are in our mid-thirties with no medical issue however we feel it's time to start a relationship with a good doctor.

Any recommendations?

P.S. We would be willing to travel to DC as well.

Thanks!

We are in Springfield but do not mind traveling in the area for a good doctor!

Could someone recommend a good primary care physician around Herndon / Reston. My husband's current doctor is just awful, not happy with him at all .

I know that must have been frustrating but it's actually a measure of her success -- a lot of his patients liked her enough to stay as did patients who knew her previously and swiched over to there, along with new patients. So her schedule is very full.

Well, I'm still looking - went to Christina Michael in Alexandria for husband (his Nephrologist recommended). She's a very "no nonsense" doc. but he likes that (I don't so much), she does seem to know what she's doing though - so I'll let you all know how that goes.

Kind of seemed to me though that the office would realize that the "old" practice patients needed a doc. And if they looked at records would realize that the "old practice" people that had gone for yrs. and yrs. and weren't hypochondriacs were maybe worth keeping?
