Can someone tell me the names of nice safe apartment complexes located in Fairfax preferably within a 30 min or less drive to Fair Oaks Mall? Also, how much is the avg rent for a nice 1 bed apartment in this area?

My son rents in Reston, around 1,300 for a very nice apartment, walking distance to town center, and safe.

There are dozens of apartment complexes right next to Fair Oaks, within walking distance to the mall and two movie theaters. I've lived or have know people who've lived in Post Forest, the Hermitage and the Lincoln, and they've had good experiences. They are all pretty safe, though Lincoln and Post Forest are a little more tucked away. 1300 is reasonable for this area.

The Hermitage is nice and in walking distance to the mall. Its between 13-1400/mo.
