Try Chantilly around Willard Road. Google "furniture chantilly va" and you should be able to find some factory direct showrooms, weekend-only furniture stores, etc.

Might try Showcase Furniture in Manassas or Hamilton's Sofa Gallery in Chantilly. They both get good ratings for price and quality in Consumers Checkbook and are at least in the vicinity of Ashburn. Wouldn't overlook Crate & Barrel either, though I think Tysons is the nearest one...

I agree ... Showcase in Manassas looks unimpressive from the outside, but is actually very nice.

Now, just today in the Washington Post, there was an ad for a furniture store that had a location in Ashburn. It wasn't Belfort, but it was one of those recognizable names.

I'm just in town for the holiday and am hoping to hit Stanis in Chantilly, which I always love.

Check out Model Home Furniture on Willard Rd.

I don't know if there is a Haverty's up there... but Haverty's has nice things. Lots of people like Marlo too - Rt 395 in Alexandria area. I think there is a Scan outlet too, up around Hagerstown MD.

Oooops, out of the 30-minute driving range, I'm afraid.

I'm looking for a sectional too, and am really happy with what i have found at The Guest Room furniture store in Leesburg. We are going with Smith Brothers of Berne - quality seems very high.
