I'm moving to Centreville and need to start the new year with a new dentist. I've had lots of dental work done over the years so prefer someone experienced. It would also be nice if he/she had a caring personality as my last dentist and his staff were hurting in that area (while I was in the chair waiting in between bouts of work, people were in and out of the room constantly and not ONE greeted me or asked me how I was doing.) At that dentist in Gainesville, I was very dismayed when the dentist spent 10 mins with me and the assistant(s) did all the rest of the work with him completely gone out of the picture. Having spent a lot of time in a dentist's chair over my lifetime, I was upset at how much of the work was passed off to the assistant. Went there one time and I'm done. They must make a ton of money from insurance, because they only have to pay the assistants to do the bulk of the work...
