Hey all - something my husband and I overlooked for our move to Vermont this Friday - moving pads. We are loading an Old Dominion Freight Container and they don't offer them....the cost to rent from Uhaul is $$ considering we will have to have them for over 2 weeks.... So - anyone know of any place in the area that rents for a reasonable price or offers them for less than $15 a piece?

Good deal! However, we need these for Friday/Saturday so don't think these would make it in time.

Harbor Freight. Just bought a bunch of 72"x80" pads for $8.99 each. They have a store in Woodbridge.

Also pick up some plastic wrap and tape while you're there.

Probably worth buying a bunch of pads then selling them for 50-75% of the price on Craigslist once you're done unpacking. If not, they're still cheap as dirt.

Thanks for the tip about Harbor Freight - had no idea they had a store in Woodbridge. In the meantime, stopped by Salvation Army and bought an entire backseat full of blankets/comforters for a buck and change a piece. Have a coworker who is supposed to lend me his furniture/moving pads for a 6 pack of bud. IF we need more, we can just make a run down to the store - excellent. Thank you!
