I knew the outcome would be pretty good. These studies usually come out pretty good for PWC. As a retired PWC employee and PWC resident since 73 I have my bones to pick but overall it's a good place to reside.

Prince William residents satisfied with county life - INSIDENOVA.COM: News: headlines, prince william county virginia, prince william board of county supervisors,

The Prince William Board of County Supervisors recently learned Prince William residents are pretty satisfied with life in the county.
Rebecca Elmore-Yalch, of ORCInternational, presented the results of a community survey to the board and told the supervisors that Prince William residents are a little more satisfied with quality of life compared to other communities.

I'm overall satisfied, but I never got a survey. Anyone know how they distribute the survey and to how many people? Anyone surveyed?

We didn't receive a survey either. How do they choose who to send the surveys to?

It's most likely done by random sampling.

If it was mailed and wasn't a bill or Kohl's coupon, I automatically tossed it. I also don't have a landline so a phone call is out. Nor do I answer the door when strangers ring - I ain't buying! So I didn't participate in the survey either, however, I am a satisfied PWC resident.

Here's a link to the survey results on the PWC website:

http://www.pwcgov.org/government/dep...y%20Survey.pdf

According to this, 1,727 surveys were completed - 1,269 by phone and 458 online.

It also stated: "Study methodology changed to address changes in the survey industry — mixed modes of data collection — and growing prevalence of cell phone only households and to ensure a representative sample of all Prince William County residents."

They've done this survey every year since '93. Starting this year, they will conduct the survey every other year.

I didn't take the survey, but we've been pleased with life in the county, or we wouldn't have stayed for the last 30 years.
