Hello all,

I hope I can get some informative rsponse from the "regulars". I have been reading the comments for few months and I think CD is amazing.
We found a nice 2 bedroom condo for 1750 at the Fountains of Mclean. I am wondering if I rented to fast or if this was a good deal.
Also for 1750, could I have gotten a bigger bang for my buck in another area such as Reston or neigboring area. I am working in Mclean and my wife is a SAHM and my daughter is 3 months old.
I am eager to here all opionions,

Regards,

For that price you could be in a townhouse in Reston and have great pools, tot lots, and trails for your wife take the little one.

It's about half an hour, straight down the toll road (rte. 267).

If you go to the link JfromReston posted above, HomesDatabase - Home for Sale and Rent in DC, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania, you can tailor your search to rentals, specify the amount of bedrooms you seek, and limit the search to Reston by specifying the zip code - the 3 Reston zip codes are 20191, 20190, and 20194.

Traffic in Tysons is a nightmare right now due to silver line construction. I personally think you made the right decision, especially because you are renting, not buying, and your child is very young.
