To me, nothing says Spring like Asparagus. I have lots of dishes with asparagus in them, including a soup for the first course. I just love asparagus, it tastes like spring to me!

I always thought that, at the end of Lent, the Easter Vigil was the more sacred of the masses - it's a time that RCIA people are formally welcomed as Catholic parishners, babies are baptized, and the church is renewed (new Easter candle, lots of incense and holy water!) because Jesus has risen. It can be a very lengthy Mass - upwards of 2 or 3 hours. Can someone clarify if that's right?

I too, now frequently go to Sunday morning Mass but, as a college student, I adored the Sunday evening Mass at King's, lovingly known as the "hangover Mass!"

Not yet in the valley but I do go to church. 3 or 4 Sundays per month and every Easter.I am looking at churches in NEPA already. I have always been a Lutheran (ELCA the lest socially conservative Lutheran body)
I am interested in a few churches in the NEPA area. The one in Kingston seems good and there is a nice active ELCA church in Clark Summit which might be too much of a trip if I am living in Scranton.
I find going to church and being involved in a comminity of faith - what ever faith you are, seems to enrich my life and help forge like minded and positive friends.
In fact about the only thin that I will miss when I move is my church family.

Here is the bunny we had breakfast with on Saturday......He gave out cute goodie bags to our three little fellows.......
We always eat out on Easter. No one cooks.........Then we gather in the gathering room to chat and enjoy the day. The kids go off looking for eggs and play downstairs.....
Just a joyful day it is.......and it surely is a day of memories...
We all try to get to church early in the AM.
