Wow! not one reply! That's a shame. It's not everyday an area team wins the state title for any sport. I guess these topics don't get any responses unless it somehow revolves around Scranton. Let me try this... Wyoming Seminary are state champs!...a...let me see? a... and Mayor Doherty is a bone head?, look at the condition of the city streets in Scranton, and look at how much taxpayer money he is wasting on pet projects?!! There I made a negative reference to Scranton, hopefully someone else will post something now.

The community is lucky to have young people who did what it took to acheive a state championship, despite having to endure the condition of the city streets and waste of taxpayer $ in Scranton

Just not much interest in field hockey (most schools around here don't even have field hockey teams).....congratulations to them anyways....

I'm not a big fan either, but it has been a slow news week, and that is quite an accomplishment for a NEPA team for any sport. So I figured I'd post it. Congrats to them!
