Looking for family friendly (we have a 3.5 year old and a 16 month old) fishing spot in the Lackawanna County area. We have visited Kennedy Park in Forest City and we like it there, just looking for a few new ideas. Anyone been to Lackawanna State Park? Is this also a good spot for swimming? Any info greatly appreciated

TIA - K

you can fish at Lackawanna, but to swim you have to use the pool, there is no lake swimming there.. If your looking for lake swimming, Tobyhanna St. Park is very nice, tables, grills etc. drive up 307 Straight past Lake Scranton you will run straight into it..
