Howdy all... I've been trying to dig up some of my ancestors, and boy are they buried deep. Among them are the Towslee or Towsley family, originally from Iowa, but met their final rest in Devils Lake. I'm hoping someone in DL can make a trip to the cemetery and take pics of elusive gravestones... here's the info:

Burial:
Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery
Devils Lake
Ramsey County
North Dakota, USA
Plot: Block 07, Lot 24, Space 11 and Space 12, GAR 2nd Addition

Given names of interest are Frank, Frances, Florence, Lucy, or Mary.

Also if anyone knows their ancient history, would be appreciated. Thanks!!

You could check out findagrave.com. Click on a regular search and put the names in and where they are buried. Sometimes the relatives are included on the info. I was able to get alot of my family history that way. I'm from SD and have had better luck there than some of the cemeteries in ND.

Got the info I have from FindAGrave, but there are no photos on the listings. (And either one is wrong, or it's the husband-and-wife together.) They've made themselves particularly elusive by multiple different spellings.

How about familysearch.com. That's the free version of Ancestry.

FamilySearch is the LDS archive. There's a lot of overlap with Ancestry, but they don't use the same database.

Did finally find some info, by sheer chance!
