Hi!
Do all the folks that own homes here and come up for the summer pay property taxes? Any perks they have that the rest of us (who live here year round) don't?

Everyone who owns property in NC, is required to pay property tax. It doesn't matter if they are a resident, non-resident or part-time resident of the state or county in which the property is located.

wow that was just a scary thought.
If that happen then there would definitely wouldnt be any undevelop place left

But there is plenty of remote beautiful miles of undisturb land just take a ride on US 64, US 421 US 13, US 158 and highway 150, highway 8 highway 150
