Has anyone looked into these homes in the North Raleigh area? Know anything about the builder McCar?

I have a client who is considering building a house in Stonegate. I think you get alot of house for the money, in that area.

There were a couple floorplans that looked very nice. They really did not give any info on lot sizes and when I typed in the mls numbers for some of the available ones on realtor.com they did not come up. The builders web site kept booting me out for some reason. I couldn't figure out what schools and such. In all our exploring and looking I don't recall seeing this neighborhood nor did our realtor mention it. I think I might just have to put it on our list.

Stonegate is in Wake Forest. Well, it has a Wake Forest address. Its actually down towards Wake Forest. I'm not sure about the schools. Vicki

There site said Raleigh. Confusing! What is the difference between N. Raleigh and Wake? I am so lost just like I was when I was back there. Between the inner belt and the outer belt and all the trees which gave me no reference I drove around in circles! I also loved every minute of it LOL! I told Dh he better plan on buying me a car with a navigation system or else he will come home one night only to find that I have ended up in Canada!

The location may be great and it may seem as if you are getting a lot of house for the money but do not consider McCar if you want a structural sound, quality home. Also, if customer service, follow-up and integrity are important qualites you are looking for in a builder, again stay away from McCar!
