You would think that in this day-and-age folks who operate such a place would have some manners and civility...

I mean, they are just animals, but what does it thrill a person to be so whacked?

How can people have so little dignity or feeling?

And we bought a butterball?

For the last time!

I love my turkey, but there has gots to be a better way to treat them.

I assume this is the plant in Wayne/Duplin county. There are alot of good people at the turkey plant, and it's a great boon to the area. Still, there are high school dropouts that don't even have a GED that work there.

I am thinking the problem is the process and the COMPANY, NOT the employees.

People referring to company policy...employees do what they are told.

But...there have been a few jobs I could not do.

Just because a business creates employment should not exempt it from sane and humane practices.

I would not support any business that was cruel or unethical.

There are also a LOT of farm raised turkeys sold by folks who have employed others and would employ MORE if they sold more turkeys.

Then again, I have always believed corporate america has NO other cares or interests beyond profit.

When profit comes before people or being compasionate, why should I support it economically?
