I am looking to relocate to North Carolina and will need work in my field as an interior trim carpenter. I have worked as a self employed sub-contractor
/ carpenter for 30 years. I specialize in mostly high end homes and commercial work from Interior trim/ doors etc. to Cabinetry installations and such. Does anyone have any insight on the housing job market possibly in the Hickory vicinity. Any advise / help I would really appreciate. Thanks

Check out Lenoir/Caldwell County which may be on the verge of a boom. There are a number of high end developments to be built in the near future. Good luck.
