Here's one of the Charlotte skyline from Grandfather Mountain. About 82 air miles away. The photographer was the late Hugh MacRae Morton, owner of Grandfather Mountain prior to his death in June of 2006.
The cross reflection in the trees is a stunning shot.......was that intentional?
Probably. Lake Junaluska is the site of the headquarters of the World Methodist Council, a consultative body linking almost all churches in the Methodist tradition. It is also a camp and conference center for the Southeastern Jurisdiction of the US United Methodist Church.
