Hi all,
quick questions on recycling: do you have curbside recycling down there? I tried to google it and I went to the NC gov website, but I couldn't find what I was looking for. Maybe I was in the wrong place. Oh yeah I mean around Raleigh, Cary (you know the transplant area). If not, then are there many nearby places where I can drop off myself? Is it popular down there to recycle (not that it matters, just curious).

And somewhat on a different note, are there many cars down there that run on alternative fuel, like veggie oil or soybeans? Mine doesn't, but many around me up here are cropping up. I think it is a pretty cool idea, but smelling french fries at a stop light gets a little nausiating sometimes. Just wondered if that trend has made it way down yet, or if that is the direction it actually came from.

Thanks all.

Opps I forgot, how about Goodwill and other Thrift shops are there many of them around? We would rather give things away then throw them out when possible, plus you find really good deals there.

You'll need to look at the county level for such services: Wake County Government is the site for Raleigh and Cary.
