I currently teach in NJ and really wanna relocate to NC. I was hoping somone could tell me how to go about finding a teaching job in NC. Here in NJ one just reads the local paper online and submits resume/cover letter to the job openings. How do you find one in NC?

Thank you.

Get a map with the counties of NC. Then google the county and NC schools.ex:Pamlico County NC schools. Then go to the school site and alot will have recruitment info on them. OR call someone at the schools and ask them.

There have been many, many posts about this. But like the previous poster stated you need to pinpoint the area that you would like to live in. Do you want to live in the mountains? The coast? Near a big city? Small? If you can be more specific, people can help you better.

Thank you for the reply. I want to live on a lake. North, south, east or west matters not. I have been looking around lake Hickory and seems like there are good home prices (sub$300,000). Thanks again for all the help.
