Moore County Topography and Walking (Pinehurst: parks, rain, biking)

Can someone tell me if Moore County is flat or has hills? Also, are there a lot of trails to walk?

Moore County has a slight rolling terrain. I believe that Pinehurst has miles of public walking and biking trails.

If steeper terrain is something you're looking for, you do find that to some degree in the Uwharrie National Forest, which is north and west of Moore County, mainly in Montgomery, and extending into Randolph county.

If you're not looking for anything too steep, Moore County, especially to the south, isn't too bad.
