Hey all, weird question...or maybe not.

I need a space the size of a large ~2 car garage or so (20x20 ish) to work on woodworking projects and run small tools like a bandsaw, router, etc. I'm in a town home environment and would like to keep the noise down for my neighbors. Sometimes it can get loud.

I thought about selling my towmhome and getting a house with more privacy and an oversized garage. Even though I could get top dollar for my place, then I'm the buyer and homes are tough to find as well in such a sellers market. I'm still in the hobbyist phase and would like to see if I can make a semi living doing things on the side. I just don't want to spend $1000 a month leasing a too large commercial space. My budget is probably half that at best.

Any ideas? Thanks!
