Driving to Florida next week, trying to decide if it is safe to drive down I-77 (our preferred route) or if we should go down I-75. We would hate to miss our favorite restaurant, The Front Porch, in Richburg, SC the first night. Don't want to run into any detours because of flooding or washed out roads.

77 is fine. It's 95 that had the problems.

Since that's SC , not NC, you might want to ask your question in the South Carolina forum. There should be no problem with I-77 in North Carolina.

I don't think there are problems in South Carolina, but like roadpony said, ask a South Carolinian. You can check the SC DOT website, too.
