Can you tell me what the steps were, also can address change be submitted at that time? Did you have to take sign tests and did you upload your picture?.

I'm pretty sure it uses your current picture, and requires you to certify that your eyesight hasn't changed. Obviously not foolproof.

I did it. You have to certify nothing has changed. There are no tests. I'm pretty sure you can change your address. All in all it was very easy and I appreciated not having to stand in line at the local office. The only thing I don't like is that your new card will be a hideous pink. Not that it is a big deal but when I show it now it gets comments and laughs as it looks pretty stupid. I don't know why they choses that color . . .

You have to use the same picture as the time before, certify your eyesight as others have said and yes, you can change your address. You can actually get a "duplicate" license at any time to change your address from the same DMV system even if your license isn't up for renewal yet.

As for the new color/style of licenses, it's because of all the new security features. If you look really, really, really closely you can see that, among other things, the color comes from a pattern of microtext.

Just got my new license in the mail yesterday...holy crap is the new style ugly. It's also cheap and flimsy.

I was frustrated that I wasn't able to do mine online because I have a Class B CDL with a P endorsement; but most people with a class C or even a class B without any endorsements can replace their license online. The most common reason people do this besides their ID getting lost or stolen is because of a change of address so you should be all set.
