Germany alone is "helping and housing" 800,000 (that would be the equivalent of the US "helping and housing" 3 million). I think helping people in who are in need is ONE reason for the US to should accept and promote them coming across the Atlantic to our land. The fact that we are economically able is a SECOND reason. The fact that our warmongering which I'm sure you supported has led to this crisis is a THIRD reason.

That we are only going to take in 20,000 is the pathetic, as is the fact it will take 18-24 months to process each refugee. Americans like yourself need to take a long look in the mirror and figure out what you are afraid of.

Hopefully the federal govt will do a better job of checking the backgrounds of the refugees than it did in this case:

They won't. We have been warned time and again. But the clowns in Washington insist on flying in thousands of 'refugees.' 36 governors now have requested to not receive any 'refugees'.

Oh I'm not afraid. I cancel carry every day. But I also travel for work a lot. London, Paris, Germany. These 3 countries have taken in refugees and nothing good resulted. As an example look at the incident of the moment of silence in Turkey at the soccer game. It speaks volumes.

If you feel the need to spend everyday walking around with a loaded weapon, you sound pretty afraid.

It's better to create stability in their home countries so they can have functioning lives there. It's a JOKE to imply western nations can assimilate droves of under educated non English speaking middle easterners.

You're just hosting the next generation of disaffecteds.
