I e-filed both Federal and State on Feb 20, 2012. Received my Federal refund but still nothing from the State. I have checked the "Where's my refund" on the NC Dept of Revenue site, and it just says:

"Your tax return has been received, however processing is not complete. Refunds are being processed and checks/direct deposits are going out every week. Right now we are slightly ahead of last year's pace and while we are unable to estimate an exact time frame, we are working as quickly as possible to issue refunds within 45 days, as long as they do not have errors or require review."

Anyone heard anything?

We haven't filed NC yet, but we are still awaiting a refund from an amended return filing from C/Y 2011 that we filed in November. NCDOR says not to even call if it hasn't been six months yet - yikes! I suspect, similarly, that we will have a 2-3 month delay in our 2012 refund, but we also have very unusual circumstances.

I am still waiting as well.

For those that want to check, the direct link to the website is https://eservices.dor.nc.gov/wheresm...lectionServlet You need SSN and amount of refund.

To be honest I'm not sure but probably not because a CPA does our personal taxes along with the business.

I got my NC state refund about a month after filing. Federal was way faster, as usual.

We ALWAYS get our federal returns first, sometimes by months.

I e-filed via Turbo Tax on 2/12. My federal refund hit my bank on 2/27/12 and state hit my bank on 2/23/12.
