This is somewhat awkward. She was supposed to come over today at noon and did not, nor did she call me. Now, I don't really care all that much, but I do find it rude. Now I have to work with her. Needless to say, I will not be issuing another invite. What would you do? Me? I think I'll just not say anything.

No big deal. Maybe she forgot. Maybe she forgot your number. Maybe there was an emergency...things happen. Don't let it bother you.

I wouldn't be too happy with somebody wasting my day, either. Well, I suppose the issue will come up tomorrow. If the explanation makes some sense, I'd understand; if not, I'll let it slide, but no more chumminess and invites will follow.

Yeah. Give 'em one chance. If it was something flakey, write 'em off. But at least hear the explanation. Could have been serious. Did you call her?

Well, she called me two hours later to say she had not forgotten but her housework is getting out of control. How lame. I set my alarm this morning to wake up and clean. She could have called me. I told her I'd call her back, but I won't. I just don't have time for this kind of stuff.

In this case I say "screw her"!

Don't date coworkers. Anything that goes bad can get carried over into work and that's never pretty.

Yeah, screw her. I tried for years to be friends with a flakey person like that. Nothing but aggravation.
