I know someone who HATES when people park in front of their house. I mean HATE it to a point where they talk loudly about them and confront the people.

YET, they park in front of their neighbor's houses and don't give a crap. They say its public parking.

Why are people like that? Do they not see how they are or just don't care?

The parking is just an example. They also bad mouth people and when people bad mouth them back, they get upset and can't take it.

Them: "awww you can't take a joke huh? hahaha" say someting back to them "OMG, that was so wrong to say!. I didn't think you were that kind of a friend!"

I don't bother with them.

I have a relative who used to FREAK when a neighbor would park at the curb in front of the house. It's a PUBLIC CURB, for eff's sake. If you want private parking beyond your driveway, go buy a bigger piece of land.

A total lunatic. And not in my life anymore. Interestingly, OP, they're also the kind of people who talk trash about people behind their backs. Hm. Maybe the parking issue is a symptom, lol

title of the thread is Inconsiderate people........so my 2 cents is this: if and when people DO park in front of my house to go to a neighbor's home, it is VERY inconsiderate to continue opening and closing, opening and closing your car doors as well as to sit in front of my house revving your engine when you leave.
I had a guy in some big truck sit in front of my house a few weeks ago at 11pm revving up his engine for over 30 minutes.(this after he had been parked in front of my house for 8 or 9 hours) After that length of time I began turning my outside light off and on.
So consideration goes both ways. And yea I would rather my neighbors ask me beforehand if I too am expecting visitors. That's what I do.

Parking in front of my house is on the opposite side of the street. However, you can look all the way down the street and no one, and I mean no one parks in front of someone's driveway on the other side of the street, that is except for mine. I can manage to get out of my driveway, but when it snows here and they plow the streets the mailman insists on parking in front of my driveway and there is little if any room to back out. Sure enough, "CRUNCH" I backed right into it one winter. I didn't have any damage done to my car except a small scratch, he had a dent. He wasn't on my street still so I said screw it - I'll just chalk this one up to stupidity.

I left post it notes all over this one car with requests they not park in front of my driveway and where else they could park including THEIR OWN DRIVEWAY ITSELF!!!!

So is this parking area in front of his house public parking? Most houses have a street in front of it and anyone can park there anytime they want because it is legal. If that is the case here, then that person needs to get a grip.

It's hard to totally avoid them in real life. As Satre said 'hell is other people.'

I find that stupidity and inconsideration are directly linked, aka the less intelligent someone is, the more inconsiderate you can expect them to be.

You can basically see this on display in parking lots. Go somewhere that stupid people shop at (like Wal-Mart) and you will find the parking lot littered with shopping carts that these people used but weren't considerate enough to "put away". They load up their cars and then just leave their cart in the parking spot next to them. It then sits there and inconveniences the next person who comes along and would like to park there, but can't because a cart is in the spot.

Then look at a parking lot where intelligent people shop at, such as an organic food market or whatnot. You'll see virtually no shopping carts littering the parking lot, everyone who uses one will have put it in a cart rack. They leave the parking lot clean and tidy for the next person to come along.
