What do you consider the so-called "Big city attitude" and are you (or know someone who is) guilty of it?

Oh, that's just a stereotype you often hear that small towns are friendly and big cities are rude, unfriendly places. But there is some truth in it. Generally people in big cities are more isolated, inpatient, tense and sometimes rude. They are always in the rush, they walk with purpose, as if there is not enough time. They do not know each others, and tend to live in their own world.

I've never heard of that stereotype.

But I live in a small town, so I probably haven't heard of too many things lol.

City slickerz like me with big, huge, over sized, over shadowing egos, well not all. I know this one chick from a small homegenous boring white suburban town who moved to nyc, she hates guys with huge self centered egos in the city. I have a city atitude, fast, attentive, likes to cut off people in a convo. Do I have a nasty attitude? No unless someone or something makes me upset.

I've lived in big cities, I like it. The only problem I have with big cities are the high amounts of liberals. Turning their nose up if you HEAVENFORBID eat meat, or if you are not an atheist.

I'm a vegetarian and an atheist from a big city, but I'm not a liberal.

That's the only "big city attitude" I can think of. I don't live in NYC but big city is generally something like that.

The "Big City Attitude" can be found in people who bemoan a small town's hunting culture, lack of diversity, no Thai restaurants, no multiculturalism (Amish doesn't count), and no Starbucks.

I wouldn't classify that as a big city attitude, just a douche.
