This spring, even when the temperatures are a cool/breezy 70-72, the interior of my Nissan Altima '15 gets so hot that I start sweating. The Altima is black in color, but it's not the exterior that heats up, it's the interior. Does anyone know why?

The sun shining. Heating up happens to every car interior regardless of the color.

That wasn't the question. The question was why the car interior heated up when the outside temperature was "only" in the 70s.

Are you saying that even in the interior is affected by the black external color?

My silver '15 with silver paint and black leather interior is only truly hot when I forget to close the sunroof shade.
