I'm ready to explore new pizza places beyond my neighborhood in Binghamton. Any suggestions where to go?

You could always try the self proclaimed "Pizza Capital of the World" in nearby Old Forge PA. It's not far from Binghamton and I'll reserve judgment because I haven't yet tried it. But apparently it's a style of pizza that's quite different from what most of us think of as the norm and may not be "all that". But there are a large number of pizza shops there for a small town.

Here's an interesting discussion of Old Forge PA pizza:

If you don't want to make a trek all the way to Old Forge Pa., start with Consol's on Oak Hill Ave in Endicott.

Yeah, Consol's in Endicott is pretty amazing. Its grilled. Yummmm.

For a more traditional pizza, I always liked Mario's over in the Vestal Plaza. They have some incredible garlic knots, too.

Thanks for the tips. Endicott is closer than Old Forge so I'll start with Consol's...:-)

Old Forge sounds great so it'll make a nice trip this summer.

Corning NY - Aniello's and Rico's - both very good thin-crust.

Roma's outside of Endicott is very good and a Pudgies just opened up in Binghamton if you haven't tried it yet I'd say go for it.

My husband swears by Nirchi's in Endicott, but it doesn't float my boat.

Consol's in Endicott is the best! Get it 'crispy'.
