Is there a way to get to NYC from Upstate New York (Haverstraw area) without having to pass New Jersey? I want to get to Yankee Stadium. How do I get there without passing New Jersey? Is there a way?

Do you mean go THROUGH NJ? Getting to Yankee Stadium is easy: cross the Tappan Zee bridge and then just go down the Thruway to the Deegan and you're there.

The Palisades Parkway IS in NJ.

Why don't you want to pass through Jersey? If you'll be driving, might as well go through Jersey and get some cheap(er) gas on the way.

You could, but I am not sure it is quicker. Palisades to GW bridge to Deggan and you are right there
