Business related news...

Preparations are underway for sportsbooks at Seneca Buffalo Creek and the other properties held by the Native American nation. But it’s unclear how soon they may open.

Unfortunately most of the native culture, peoples, and dwellings were almost wiped out by as early as 1790 in NY!

All are still alive and well, in spite of that history.

Agreed. But I guess that's just the way life works. Traditions and culture die out over time and things that become necessary to survive take over. I would really like to see some Native American restaurants spring up in NY. My grandfather used to make Native American dishes before he passed away years ago, and I really enjoy traditional Native American food.

There are Native American owned restaurants and other cultural aspects that are still going strong. Some of this is in the thread.
