From the article: "The Qʼeqchiʼ aren’t the only Indigenous group migrating upstate. Albany has a sizable population of Triqui people, an Indigenous group from the Mexican state of Oaxaca who have been establishing themselves in the U.S. for the past 15 years. Other Mesoamerican Indigenous languages spoken in New York state include Kaqchikel, K’iche, Garifuna, Mixteco, Náhuatl and Quechua, said Margarita Larios, executive director of the state Office of Language Access."
