As a former soldier there, I've always thought that the area could be a good place for a range of entrepreneurs, particularly those of color to set up shop due to the circulation of money in the area. When I say this, I'm thinking of things like hair salons/barber shops, restaurants, clothing stores, etc. So, there is a market for spin off businesses that can serve the military community and the area in general.
