So Tesla, which were supposed to have 1500+ employees by next month, and obviously can't coem anywhere close to that mark, is no longer going to make solar panels at a plant the state owns and was virtually 100% backed by taxpayers, something like $900M.

I believe that Tesla actually reached their employer mark or has until the end of April. If they don’t, then they pay an economic penalty in terms of not meeting the minimum number of employees. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.biz...dline.amp.html

I think they needed to be employed for 5 years before you can say they hit their target. There also was to be 2000 related employees in NYS.

The article said nothing about how long they must remain on the job, to consider the goal met. But the article did state what I have been saying all along. Tesla originally promised 3000 jobs at the plant, and an additional 2000 support jobs throughout the state. What are the stats on those jobs?
