does anyone know what is on the Nyack waterfront now?
back in the late 70's i used to go to a seafood restaurant that was right on the boardwalk, it was a blue building that looked like a house and was right on the water
i also remember a big cozy restaurant a few feet down called The Windjammer. how long did that one last?

Thats all gone. They built an ugly condo complex on the site. Last time I saw it it was covered in pink stucco. Look at Burd St on Bing maps, the aerial gives a pretty good view of what it looks like now.

Remember Howards Restaurant which was there in the late 70's right near Rocco's Pizza
We may have chatted on here. Normally I am not in the burg. Peasants Pot is still there under a different name. Rocco's is familiar, where was it? Howards I don't recall at all. I do miss Bagel Nosh on 59
was in the shopping plaza by the Baskin & Robbins near the Firestone Tires Center and cards store. Howards was a few doors down from Rocco's
Bagel Nosh becaume a place called Pickles in the 80's. Across from that in front of the Nanuet mall was a Nathan's, then a Beefsteak Charlie, then Daly's Dandelion then back to Beefsteaks. But this was all in the 80's
In the early 90's they expanded the nanuet mall a little bit

the palisades Center mall opened in 1998
I remember Rocco's, my folkes love it but I never ate there. I remember the liquor store, bought a few items there as a minor..lol
By the 80's I was paroled and gone, Bagel Nosh I went to alot. Beefsteak Charlies I recall but the best was the Nanuet Diner! Nanuet Mall looked horrible last time I was in there and Palisades Mall they can keep it. What a monolith to bad design. I also noticed the Sopwith Camel is still in Bardonia/Nanuet on 304.
And as always Rockland Bakery Rules!...
Where are you living now? I don't see it identified..
I live in Riverdale, The Bronx, about 20-25 miles southeast of New City
I can't believe the Camel is still there
