Hi!
I have recently been admitted to San Jose State University in California, and CCNY in New York for Graduate Teacher preparation programs to become a teacher.
I grew up in San Jose and went to UCSD for my undergrad. Then I moved to New York and worked in advertising for about 2 years and am now in the middle of a career change to become a teacher
However I really am having a difficult time trying to decide whether to stay in NY and attend CCNY or go back home to live with my parents while attending SJSU.
Any advice? Suggestions??? PLEASE?
Background: Money is an issue. I know i would probably save a lot of money stayin in california with my parents. And Ive never had to work while being in school, so the thought of working part-time in New York while attending grad school sort of scares me.
However I love New York and moving back home with my parents would be convenient however could be depressing.
Soo do i stay in Cali and go to school at SJSU or do I stay in New York at attend CCNY?
