Hello,

There are tons of Laundromats around here in Greenpoint but I haven't seen a drive-up one where I could park. There was one next to Key Foods on McGuiness and Greenpoint Ave but it seems like it closes early or may have closed down completely. The reason why is because our machine is out of service(waiting for a part) and we have a HUGE load, over a month's worth of clothes, towels, sheets, everything. We have too many clothes to haul to a local laundromat on foot(and street parking generally sucks on the main streets) so we want to drive to one that has a parking lot.

Any suggestions? Greenpoint, Williamsburg, and Long Island City would work best but if anything is within 15 mins of Greenpoint with parking, please let me know.

Thanks,

They used to have a small parking lot in back. I don't know if they still do, but you could call and ask.
If that doesn't work, search for laundromats on google maps in your area and use the street view to see if they have parking. It seems like if you went towards parts of Queens that are less train-oriented but still close by to Greenpoint (such as Maspeth) you might have more luck. Less access to trains usually means more space, more cars, and more parking lots.

Thanks, google maps is a good idea. I'll do that, we're going tomorrow night.
