Yeah East Flatbush is legit one of the worst in Brooklyn. I group it together with Bville, ENY, and Bedstuy.

It's been almost 7 years since the OP started this thread. I checked his posting history and he's looking for houses in Atlanta. I would say that was a good call.

I recently moved to East Flatbush and I love it. I lived in the Kensington area before moving and I suffered from lack of sleep due to the F and G train, frequent ambulance sirens, and children stomping above my apartment. I was apprehensive when I first saw the area but soon realized it was a community filled culture and spirit of people from the Caribbean. Sometimes it's automatically assumed that because a neighborhood is rich with people of color it's bad. The people are so warm and you can't here a pin drop at night. I'm glad I made the choice to move.

Where in East Flatbush are you located?

only parts of east flatbush that you need to worry about is the 90s and maybe the area close to nostrand ave......the 30s 40s and 50s remind me of queens.....a lower middle class working class west indian immigrant area
