I plan to visit NYC in a few months and kindly ask NYers/Brooklynites here to recommend good steakhouses in Brooklyn that the locals enjoy for great food at reasonable prices. I suppose Manhattan has great streakhouses too but I don't know if I want to pay Parisian prices for a piece of beef.
I was thinking of saying Peter Luger, but you need to book quite a while in advance, and he said reasonable price, and well.. I couldn't say they're reasonable, although they're known for the best steak!!
If you can afford it, Peter Luger is really good. It's about $50 per person without drinks for the porterhouse, which is the only thing to order there. Also, take your heart medicine before going!
I don't know about other steak places in brooklyn, but PL's is really special. Many think it's the best steakhouse in the US.
