I saw the video of the incident, and it was a bit disturbing.

The whole thing was bizarre. What were they doing there ? I mean: 4 a.m., a deserted street in a sketchy neighborhood of Brooklyn...

Why did they follow him ? Because it's not that the perp came and stabbed the victim out of the blue, no, he walked passed them and almost immediately after they got up and followed him.

Why did they engage him when he started acting crazy ? The perp started to loudly kick scooters that were parked on the street. And the victim continued to move toward him and can be heard talking to him: "hey! hey!".

So many unanswered questions, as far as I'm concerned. The couple did exactly what they should not do. At every turn. We are not talking about legitimately naive young kids here, but grown-ups in their early 30s.

Not naive young kids, naive adult liberals who supported BLM, Abolishment of Police and Jails and who believe there are no black criminals and that all of the "high crime stats" are fake.

Who knows why they were sitting on a bench in Bed Stuy at 4 am. The 'coming back from a wedding on Long Island' thing doesn't seem realistic because how did they end up on that bench?

But from the video it seemed like they took no notice of the kid when he first walked by. Maybe they were done with their talk/argument whatever on the bench and started to walk home which was in the same direction as the kid

when they saw the kid angry, kicking parked mopeds and acting crazy, they continued walking toward him. Maybe even said somthing to him to get him to calm down (as if telling a crazed, lashing out guy at 4 am in Bed stuy is a good idea - not.)

It was the victim's far left liberalism that killed him. If he had the average street smarts of anyone living here more than a few months, he would have walked in the other direction, not towards the guy and possibly even telling him to stop kicking the bikes

This is actually scarier than the perp and his actions. There have always been criminals and violent folks, nothing new. That's part of the deal when you live in a big city. Different neighborhoods, different people, different rules. One has to be extremely tone-deaf to do what they did (which is basically going into the perp's territory and completely disregarding the rules of that territory). I mean: how self-absorbed can one be ?

Maybe they were just really drunk. That would explain much of it.

Take note of modern inclusive NYPD; one detective is an Asian female, other AA male.

Yes, good point. That was also silly from their part. If for whatever reason you find yourself out at 4 a.m., the least you can do is be aware of your surroundings. That's common sense 101.

Saw that, you rarely if ever see white cops doing the perp walk anymore unless they are wearing the correct "flag" on their lapel

You don't know what the eff you're talking about.

Whites have been "going into" territory of coloured residents of Brooklyn for several decades now. It began with Fort Green, moved over to Prospect Heights, then down to Clinton Hill and onto Bedford-Stuyvesant and Bushwick.

Now it may have been naïve to live out there, but that's all Ken Carson and his gf were guilty of if anything.

For your information people have been attacked, shot at and or killed in NYC subway stations or trains in *Manhattan*, a majority white borough. So what exactly is your point? You like black men with anger management or mental issues are confined to certain areas of Brooklyn?

Depending upon how far east out on LI this wedding was held it could have taken Mr. Carson and his gf two or three hours to get back home (Brooklyn). Like many couples or people coming back home from partying or whatever they remained outside talking (in this case on that bench) before heading indoors.
