They want to make it as low as 3 mph eventually so that you can walk and bike faster. I give it 10 years until this is the case.

But think of all the lives that will be saved!!!

Transportation Alternatives wants Vehicle Zero implemented across the whole state, since it's been such a success in NYC.

And the deaths are still going up despite all the draconian measures implemented the last decade. Now Hochul wants to double down on more draconian anti-car measures.

Love how the Democrats use the guise of ”saving lives” and even going as far as naming the bill after a kid that died when their ulterior motive is to kill the automobile.

Just like the gun laws, it is only going to affect the law abiding drivers who generally isn’t the problem anyway. The criminals will continue to drive recklessly and kill and then get lenient treatment from the Democrat DA’s.

Gotta love the circular failing Democrat policies.

If that happens. License plate cover, anti camera spray and last resort, move. I’ll never give up my cars.
I drive safely but they can stuff their laws up their anus.

Actually FHWA fully endorses this as do many other states.

It's a lofty goal, but no matter how hard we try to design roads, we cannot fix driver stupidity.

DONT forget pedestrian stupidity and entitlement. They think they got a chance against a Tahoe, but the laws of physics don’t bend.
