Are they saying this next strain is the worst so everyone gets another booster shot?
I'm behind on my booster shots. I haven't gotten any booster and I'm over 30. I believe people over 30 now are eligible for their second booster shot already and I haven't had my first. So sadly, I'm far behind.

You guys seriously have to be joking? All this time you all have been arguing with me that masks don't work, yet somehow you think booster shots do.... booster shots where people are getting severe reactions and getting Covid anyway!

If you didn't, I would just wait at this point. I thought I read something the other day that said they will be looking at adding additional strains into newer boosters. That might not be for awhile, but everyone I know who had COVID in the past few months ALL were boosted anyway, and some of them were pretty sick. Not like with the previous strains where the people I knew who were positive were barely sick.

Yeah, pretty interesting that everyone I know as well that got boosted also got Covid. But I've never gotten boosted and neither have my parents and we haven't caught the virus yet. I feel like these boosters are just weakening the immune system.
One booster per year (UPDATED for the newest strain) is fine. But injection after injection using the same vaccine is a bit ridiculous! I'm not immunocompromised! Why do I need so many shots?!

Very interesting. I went out with a group of friends a while back - all boosted and they all got COVID but not me. I’m vaccinated but not boosted. Someone should do a study.

They won’t because they want to sell the vaccines.
In other news, NYC is "recommending" indoor masking again. I wonder how long it will take to turn into a mandate, or do they back off when even compliant, deep Blue New Yorkers have had enough? It hasn't solved any problems 2 1/4 years into masking.
