I’m okay eating school lunch lol. Free food baby! In school I always ate the sandwich, milk and fruit. Never ever hot lunch. It was gross.

We’re dealing with stuff like this in Spain. A lot of young people everywhere have weak immune systems due to some sort of chronic illness.

Governments and hospitals don’t have the resources to treat everyone at once, as 20 percent of infected people require hospitalization.

So the lockdown is to slow the spread of the illness and keep the death rate down till better treatment options or a vaccine or cure come through.

Saw one of the country's top epidemiologist on the Joe Rogan show. Basically this virus is getting transmitted by breathing the same air as an infected person in the same room. Infected people have a viral count tens of thousands higher than when SARS hit. They don't even have to cough on you

Jeesh. So does that mean you can be sitting outside on a park bench talking to someone who is infected and still get this damn virus?

Yeah - they say for proper social distancing you need to be 6 feet away

The vast majority of Chinese people never eat any wild animal.
I know that. My daughter lived in both Chengdu and Beijing. The foods were different from each other. She liked the Sichuan food best. She is a vegetarian anyway.

If I am honest I believe the government does not have this under control and they are trying to ease the public into a lock down. From the beginning they have been telling people not to panic but all of their actions is showing how serious this situation really is.

Read between the lines.
Yeah. De Blasio has been singing a different tune lately. In the beginning, he was poo pooing everything.
Now at the latest update, he looks stricken and his voice is quavering. Ditto Trump. He isn't so cocky anymore. Course the stock market drop maybe why he's suddenly so sober.

San Francisco SHUTTING DOWN FOR 3 WEEKS 24-Hr Curfew Starts Tonight

I doubt this will happen in NYC

“Mayor London Breed announced what she calls a "defining moment" in U.S. response to the pandemic. Beginning at 12 AM, all residents within the city can only leave home for doctor's appointments or runs to the grocery store.“

This is freaky.
So, is San Francisco. They're ordered to shelter in place. Woah...
