^ Their lines move fast though. They have lots of cashiers and a new one open up every two or three seconds.
So while the line may LOOK like a long wait, it really isn't.
Still a turn-off from a shopping standpoint. I avoid such places. I don’t want to shop at a zoo. I want to be able to walk the aisles and have some time to shop without banging into people in every aisle. Plenty of other places I avoid for this reason, or I shop there during non-peak times.

Because of this Trader Joes over the years had to open new locations, so there would not be such extreme crowds.

Nevertheless, I’m still not a fan. Girlfriend shops there on occasion. I’ve tried some products. Some ok ones, some ok things. They also seem quite secretive about where they source some things, which doesn’t sit well with me.
At the very least you have to be personable. Maybe that eliminates a fair number of people.
I’ve had friends do stints there, the big things are to be personable in the interview, and then prove to also be communicative and reliable to stay on. I don't see those as squarely "libby" properties, but what libbies are probably shifts radically from one person to another. You certainly can't be a constant jerk and keep working there. Supposedly it’s a pretty fun and flexible place to work.
