What exactly is the nature of your premise? Or are you simply posting a random listing?

I have some interest in having a child but I can't think of anything more mind numbing than stressing and hustling over secondary education.

Nothing wrong with CUNY schools. I graduated from LaGuardia Community College and John Jay College of Criminal Justice with honors.

melisholla,
For sure. I graduated from Columbia University, got my doctorate but made less money than my sibling who attended Lehman Community College and got his CPA.

violetnights, there is a lot of pressure to keep up with all the right pedigree and education. It starts in elementary school and maybe even before! It is important to stay with your own life objectives, financial limitations and family considerations ( cannot neglect your own retirement savings, lifestyle needs, etc.). Children and their needs can become all consuming, but there are many paths to success, depending on the individual, their life circumstances, abilities, drive, and perseverance.

I dont think you can compare Interschools to Ivy League.

The ivies have changed their admissions policies. Graduating in the top tier of certain elite private schools is no longer a guarantee of admission to an ivy league university. You'd have to be a legacy, whose parents have made big donations to the university.
