Google Maps

MapQuest: Driving Directions & Business Directory

Just enter the info requested and it'll give you an estimated time traveled.

no reason to go to brooklyn, you should leave no later than 7 am, and if you take the tpk to 16e, then head towards the lincoln tunnel, exiting where it says last exit in NJ, take a left at the traffic light you'll be at the port imperial ferry terminal which will have cheap parking, a ferry to NYC and a shuttle bus on the NYC side to get you close to where you are going. Hmmmmm -- you'll probably do best leaving the day before .....

The online maps and driving directions are helpful, but just recognize that are often (always?) delays at bridges and tunnels, which means your actual driving time will be longer than the directions would indicate.

I found this out the hard way when I moved here a couple of years ago. The last leg of my journey was from Pennsylvania, through Jersey and across the GW Bridge into uptown Manhattan. My driving directions said it was something like three hours, and it ended up taking closer to four .....
