What are some good areas to stay in if I am visiting to go to a Yankees game in May? There are sooo many hotels and I cant decide if staying in New York or New Jersey is my best option. I would like to be in a safe area!

There's a Holiday Inn and Royal regency Hotel in Yonkers on Tuckahoe Rd about 10 miles from the stadium on I87. Easy on-easy off. I've heard good things about them
