Can the State Senator from the 24th district beat De Blasio in 2017?

Good question. I would personally vote for him, since I lean Republican, but I'm not sure he would appeal to other New Yorkers.

He'd never win a general election, but he's a really good guy and I'd definitely vote for him.

He opposed the bus lanes along Hylan Blvd that are improving service for thousands of riders, so he's definitely not getting my vote.

Won't get my vote, although I'd never actually vote for a Democrat against him. He ignored me when I tried contacting him regarding a Veteran's issue. He's dead to me.

Hell probably beat De Blasio. Lanza would be a fundraising juggernaut.

I don't think a Republican will be getting elected anytime soon.
