Queens residents, can you get to work (Manhattan)? (live in, bus)

Anyway we can get to work? I'm scheduled to work this evening, just texted my boss because he said someone might be able to cover me today....but if that person can't cover, is there anyway to get into Manhattan?

Bridges should have just opened, and there will be limited bus service starting at 5pm. However trains are down for at least 4 days. They are allowing cabs to pick up multiple passengers.

i live in ridgewood and i work near lower manhattan. It might be a fun trip if i have to take a bus to the Q60 and then some manhattan bus. Looks like there is no brooklyn bus that goes into manhattan

Believe me I have no problem staying home...but I work for old crazy Irish people. I had to run out of the ER one time to make it on time to work.

Gonna have to brave it and go by bicycle -rain or shine- tomorrow.
Luckily is only 30 mins each way from where I am.
